Delete a Space

We’ve hidden the ‘Delete’ option for spaces to make sure you don’t lose data unintentionally.

<aside> ⚠️ WARNING

A space cannot be deleted if it has snapshots or an active SMB mount.

Make sure to remove all snapshots for the space and ensure that no users are mounted with SMB.

Step by Step

  1. Click on System in the top menu bar.
  2. Click on the gear icon next to the ‘Available’ capacity for a space name.
  3. Click the 'Expand' button.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the 'Delete Space' button.
  5. You will need to confirm the deletion by clicking the 'OK' button.
