Step by Step

  1. Go to the Libraries tab of the Spaces page.

  2. Select a library using the dropdown at the top of the left sidebar.

  3. In the ‘Viewport’, click on an asset.

  4. If you have permission to access the asset, the ‘Inspector’ will appear.

    Access Permissions for Libraries

All users with at least read access to a Space will see the Library all of the assets listed. However, they will only be able to inspect as asset if they have access rights to the underlying data, i.e. the same folder and file access permissions on the Spaces page.

  5. A thumbnail is generated from the media. If it's a video, a random frame is used, which you can regenerate with the 'Refresh' icon.

  6. Depending on the media type, tabs will be displayed with additional information about the file.
