Create a Space

Carve the node's storage into virtual volumes that you can individually mount and manage.

Step by Step

1. Go to the System page of the web app as a ‘System Admin’.

2. Click ‘Add a Space’ in the ‘Pool’ you want to create the space in.

   

3. Use the text box to enter a name for your space. Keep in mind that names cannot start with a number, and cannot contain spaces or punctuation.

   

4. Click ‘Create Share and Set Permissions’.

   

5. Click ‘OK’.
