Unzip or Extract From a Zip

Extract all of the some of the contents of a .zip file through the web app.

Step by Step

  1. Go to the Spaces page of the web app and locate the zip file you want to extract contents from.
  2. Inspect the zip file and go to the ‘Zip Contents’ metadata tab.
  3. (Optional) Click on the root folder to reveal contents.
  4. Click on ‘Select All’ to select everything or click on individual folder(s) and file(s) to select them.
  5. Click ‘Unzip’ to extract the current selection.
  6. (Optional) Turn on ‘Overwrite Destination’ to replace existing files with matching names.
  7. (Optional) Turn on ‘Unzip to Current Directory’ if you don’t want to create a new folder named after the zip.
  8. (Optional) Turn on ‘Custom Folder Name’ to name the resulting folder the selection will be extracted to.
